HOD DESK
“Nobody can do everything, but everyone can do something”,
Encouraging a philosophy that recognizes individual limitations while emphasizing collective impact, the community health department motivates students to actively contribute. Balancing social awareness and medical expertise, we empower students to engage in community outreach, serving as nurse teachers, counselors, and health educators. Proudly promoting “maximum exposure,” our initiatives reach community villages, allowing students to form a versatile “Resource team” across Madurai district — spanning schools, colleges, NGOs, and government institutions. As a vital department with adopted villages and health centers, we take pride in instilling a service-oriented mindset in our students. The efforts invested today to nurture their commitment to community service are seeds destined to blossom into fruitful, healthy trees in the future
